The year's final Council meeting was a busy one
A forty percent lameduck Council met December 18 in Pablo for a short six-hour session. Besides. approving half-a-dozen sets of committee minutes, the Council discussed money, trees, water and personnel matters.
Before getting into the heavy business, though, a resolution was drafted expressing the Council's regret at the death of Tribal Judge Henry Burland (see page 2). Copies of the unanimously approved document will be sent to Judge Burland's family and will

Money generated by the new fee will be distributed by

Quarterly is January 1
Since the Tribal Constitution requires quarterly meetings be held on the first Friday of January, April, July and October, 1982's first such gathering has been scheduled for January 1, 1982. The place is the Council Chambers in Pablo. Nine a.m. is the optimistic target hour for convening.
