              Council Approves 15 Month Budget
I he 11 ifo.il Council apptovMl '^f* Tribes operating budget fot a lb mnnlh Fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1376, and ending October 1. 1 977.  The total operating budget is SI ,373,053.00. for 15 months, which compares with last years 1 975 - 1 976, 1? month Hudgel of 1,030,965,50.
Thr- '75 - '76 Budget, broke i-nto quarterly figures, amounted to $257,74 1.37 per quarter. This years budget figures in at $274,610.70 per quarter. This represents an increase of
$16,969.43 per quarter, and budgel increase of $67,877.72 for a 1? month time period The budget does not reflect any substan tial salary increases, as was erroniouily re ported in the Missoulian  Newspaper on June 8. There were several other errors in thr Mis soulian article that each reader will he able to see when we print the entire budgets fdr this year and last year, in the next issue of the Char-K(5osta.  Both  Bu dgets require a lengthy amount of space to reprint, space which we did not have in this i ssue .
