CHAR-KOOSTA
PUBLISHED BY CONFEDERATED SALISH AND KOOTENAI TRIBES, FLATHEAD AGENCY, MONT.
Vol. 3—12 November 1959
One of Our Vanishing Landmarks . .
t V
As time rolls along we see many of our old relics, pioneer buildings and points of interest fade before the eyes of the public. This old home makes up part of the history of the Flathead Reservation as it is known as the"01d Dupuis
Home," locaated a few miles south of Pablo, the little boom-town of today. This old structure is near the Ronan airport. We have many scenic attractions on our Reservation but the majestic Mission Range is outstanding. In
taking pictures of the Flathead, pointing to the eastern boundary of the Reservation, the great Mission Range serves as a natural barkground as in the picture of the old Dupuis home. Photo Courtesy Flathead Courier, Poison.
