" i. Within the boundaries of the Flathead Reservation it is unlawful for any person to harass, shoot, kill or molest any animal caught in a trap or other devices used for Wildlife Management purposes. "
Correction
Your Char-Koosta Editor apologizes to Councilman Thomas "Bearhead" Swaney, the Tribal Council and all of our readers for the following wrong information published in the January 15th issue.
In the article reporting the vote taken to unseat Swaney as Chairman, it was reported that "a motion was made and voted upon, with a vote of 5 to 2 in favor of his removal. Both Swaney and Hot Springs District Councilman Tom Pablo, abstained from voting due to their positions as Chairman and Vice-Chairman."
Councilman Swaney said he did vote on the motion and the vote was 5 to 3. Only Councilman Pablo abstained from voting out of nine Councilmen attending the Quarterly Meeting in Hot Springs.
