September 10th - Pilgrimage
There will be a memorial Mass in honor of our deceased who are buried at Stevensville, and a pot-luck dinner will follow the services.
KARATE TOURNAMENT
All Indian Karate Tournament will be held at the St. Ignatius Community Center on Sept. 16th and 17th.
The charge to the public is $1.50 for adults and .75 for children.

Notice
The Two Eagle River School will begin classes September 5th.
The bus will have the same route and time schedule as last year.
If anyone needs a ride call the school before September 5th.

Headstart Enrollment
The Headstart Program is taking applications for September enrollment.
There are Headstart Centers in Poison, Pablo, Ronan, St. Ignatius and Arlee.
Children must turn four by December 31, 1978 - to be qualified for enrollment. Headstart Personnel are hoping for strong parental support and involvement in the program.
Forms may be picked up at the St. Ignatius Community Center or you may call 745-4509.
Please contact Headstart as soon as possible as classes will start September 18th.
— Important — Public Workshops and Hearings
The Seattle Corps of Engineers will hold public hearings and workshops on three (3) important topics.
Informal discussions on (1.) - Power Economics, (2.) -Geology, (3.) - Environmental Issues are the three major topics.
The first meeting will be held at the Outlaw Inn in Kalispell on Sept. 12th. The second will be Sept. 13th at the Community Center in St. Ignatius and the third will be Sept. 14th at the Hellgate High School in Missoula.
All the meetings will start at 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Jim Waller, Manager for the Corps Flathead Hydroelectric study, said there will also be three additional meetings scheduled two weeks later at the same place and time. They are Kalispell, Sept 26th, St. Ignatius, Sept. 27th and Missoula, Sept. 28th.
These public hearings are being held in conjunction with the proposed Flathead dam sites and we urge all concerned and interested people to attend these hearings and workshops.
