its LIFEBLOOD, this is YOUR chance to speak up. SHOW THAT YOU CARE!
The FLATHEAD VALLEY is under attack !
The Flathead Valley is under attack. Her land and water are the envy of the entire country, and those who can are moving in to enjoy the quality of life found along her streams, lakes, and rivers. There are two rivers in the valley-one of water, the other of life; human, plant, and animal that draw their existence from the water—and together they form the very patterns of wilderness, forests, farm lands, towns and cities that make the valley such a richly beautiful place to live. How will she stand up to the attack on her resources? The means are ours—now—to help her keep her beauty by helping plan her future through this water planning program.
You can help the valley develop patterns of population and economic growth that are harmonious to her natural beauty. The legislative framework is there. All that is needed is for you to speak up for the valley. She hasn't a voice of her own.
