A generation later, termination resolution is finally repealed in D.C.
The congressional resolution that authorized the termination of Indian tribes in the 1950's has finally been repealed, Senator Daniel K. Inouye, chairman of the Select Committee on Indian Affairs, announced April 21.
Tribal governments and individuals have been waiting 30 years for the action, he noted, which repealed House Concurrent Resolution 108. The repeal language is part of H.R. 5, the major
