Description	This atlas provides maps and general descriptions of a single representative problem area of more-or-less contiguous acreage within each of 28 public forests (National, Bureau of Land Management, and State) where increased utilization of lodgepole pine is desired by the forest manager. The 28 areas total 646,401 acres. Most of the lodgepole pine volume is of subsawlog size.
