Description	Trends in recreational use are useful as predictors of the need for future management decisions. As more land has been added to the National Forest Wilderness System, increases in use have occurred primarily in areas established by 1965. Visitor use of the areas designated by 1965 has been increasing at an average rate of 4 percent per year.
