Call for student artwork, poetry and film (Deadline 11/12/12)

Has the Moon inspired you?

The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library is hosting a series of lectures focusing on the Moon entitled “Artemis to Apollo- A celebration of the Moon’s influence on art, culture and science.”

We want to include and display student artwork, poetry and film. If you are interested in having your work shown, displayed or heard let us know! We will be asking students to judge the works submitted.

Winners will receive a Student Choice Award: categories are Best in Show, Best use of Moon Imagery, and Best use of Humor.

Poetry/Prose
We will compile and bind your work into a booklet to be given to all participants. The winner will receive a special hardbound edition.

Film
Winners will receive a unique, handmade Manny award.

Art
Your work will appear on the cover (Best in Show) or in the literature booklet (Best use of Moon Imagery; Best Use of Humor). The work may be displayed in the library for up to one year.
