There was a great article in today’s Missoulian about Sean Sullivan’s iPhone app for Questia, an online research library. The article pointed out that the app costs 99 cents to download and that Questia costs $9.99 for two weeks’ access or $99 for a year.
However, what the article didn’t point out was that you, as current students, staff and faculty, have 24/7 online access to similar article databases and e-books via the Mansfield Library’s website! Why pay $10.98 or more to do what you can do for free? Just point your browser to the library’s homepage at www.lib.umt.edu and click on the tabs to find books, articles and databases, journals and more. You will need to login with your NetID and password as you would for Grizmail or Blackboard. Check out this guide to find out more about using the library’s resources from outside the building, or contact us for more assistance.
Tell us in the comments about your favorite library resources that you can use online, even when the building is closed.
