The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library now offers comprehensive online access to the New York Times from 1851-2003, and from June 1, 2007 onward.
ProQuest’s New York Times Historical database has been added to the growing list of electronic resources available to University of Montana-Missoula constituents. The New York Times Historical provides keyword searchable, cover-to-cover full-text and full-image access, including advertisements and photographs, with complete pages and individual articles available as downloadable pdf files.
The New York Times Image Edition database provides an exact digital reproduction of the printed edition, with keyword searching and the ability to browse the full publication from June 1, 2007 to the present day. Issues are available online before they are printed, including an advance copy of the Sunday issue.
New York Times articles from 1980-present are also available via the Mansfield Library through the subscription database Lexis-Nexis Academic.
