Expanded Access to Grant Information
12 January 2012 by Kimberly SwansonThe library has upgraded its online subscriptions to Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals to campus-wide and remote access. Previously our access was in-library use only. Find both directories under “F” on the library’s A-Z Resources list.
Foundation Directory Online allows users to search 100,000 foundations, corporate giving programs and grant-making public charities in the U.S.; 2.4 million recently awarded grants; and 700,000 recently filed IRS forms 990 and 990-PF.
Foundation Grants to Individuals allows users to search 8,300 foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists, researchers, and other individual grant seekers. Look here for these types of grants:
- Scholarships, fellowships, loans, and internships
- Awards, prizes and grants by nomination
- Research and professional support
- General welfare and special needs
