James G. Blaine

James G. Blaine (1830-1893) was, among other things, a member of the US House and Senate, Secretary of State, and the 1884 Republican presidential nominee. The materials presented here span his entire congressional career as well as his later years, and they consist primarily of government publications and offprints of Blaine's speeches.
